One such company was one of our large clients. We have designed and built a parking management software, a comprehensive system, for their new office location in Mumbai. It is one of the most unique solutions we have built in terms of solving complicated parking processes.

Background
The client is a large multinational company that wanted a parking system in place before moving into a new business park. The space allotted to them was for around 1000 vehicles. They needed a parking management system to automate its parking processes so that their employees did not face any issues while parking their vehicles.
The Challenges
a) Shared Entry And Exit Points: The parking layout had a common entry and exit for both the client's vehicles and those of other tenants, leading to potential congestion and confusion.
b) Parking Encroachment: Since the client’s parking area was adjacent to that of other tenants, there was a high risk of unauthorized vehicles parking in the client's designated spaces.
c) Tandem Parking Complications: Approximately 50% of the parking spaces were tandem spots, where vehicles are parked back to back, making it difficult to manage and requiring efficient coordination.
d) Customization and Flexibility: The solution needed to be adaptable, as unforeseen issues could arise once the system was operational. Flexibility in the system was crucial to address these potential challenges promptly.
e) Software Infrastructure: To ensure smooth operation, there was a need for robust software infrastructure tailored for employees, valet services, and security personnel to handle various scenarios effectively.

Staff Application: Empowering Employees
The user-friendly mobile app for employees offers a suite of features designed to simplify the parking process:
a) Slot Booking: Employees can pre-book their parking slots, guaranteeing a space before they arrive. This reduces the stress of finding a spot during peak hours.
b) Navigation Assistance: Once a slot is booked, the app provides navigation assistance to guide employees directly to their allocated parking spot, saving time and reducing congestion.
c) Tandem Assistance: A big part of the challenge was due to tandem parking issues. To resolve this issue, we have introduced cabinets in the tandem parking bay where vehicle keys are safely kept. The cabinets are accessible only to the employees and valet attendants. Valet attendants make tandem switches before the employee leaves the office, thereby ensuring timely vehicle retrieval.
d) Alert Notifications: Employees receive real-time notifications confirming their booked slots, alerts if tandem-keys are not kept in the cabinet, and notifications when their vehicle is ready for exit. This ensures smooth communication and operation.
Valet Attendant Application: Enhancing Efficiency
The valet attendants have their dedicated app, designed to streamline their workflow and ensure optimal parking management.
a) Notification Updates: The app notifies attendants if a slot is not acknowledged or if tandem-keys are not placed in the cabinet, ensuring every step is accounted for.
b) Tandem Parking Management: Managing tandem parking can be challenging. The app assists attendants in efficiently handling tandem parking actions, optimizing space utilization and timely vehicle retrieval.
c) Exit Process: The valet app facilitates quick and efficient vehicle retrieval during exits, minimizing wait times for employees.
d) Photo Proof: Valet attendants can capture photos with date and time stamps, providing a verifiable record for both the company and employees.
Web Dashboard (Admin Portal): Centralized Control
The admin portal is the nerve center of our parking management system, offering a bird’s-eye view of the entire operation.
a) Valet Data Upload: Admins can easily upload all valet data, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
